Weather and lesson update - Tuesday 19th July
Dear Parents and Carers,
Steadfast as I am in my commitment to remain open for all lessons, I am going to change the structure of the school day tomorrow.
Overnight tonight it is going to be very warm. As such, the site will not cool as much as we might want before it then warms again in the morning. I am mindful also that the high tomorrow may also be higher than it was today.
Tomorrow’s lessons will be shortened to 50 mins each, with two 25 minute breaks also. The day will look as below. Wednesday will be a normal school day and Thursday will be as planned for the final day of term, finishing at approximately noon.
Timetable for Tuesday 19th July
8.30-9.20 – arrival straight to period 1 (this will count as morning registration)
9.20-10.10 – period 2
10.10-10.35 – break for all (cold food service only for Yrs 7 and 8)
10.35-11.25 – period 3
11.25-12.15 – period 4
12.15-12.40 – break for all (cold food service only for Yrs 9 and 10)
12.40-13.30 – period 5 to include afternoon registration
13.30 – dismissal
After school clubs may run as normal.
