Friends of GCS
On behalf of the committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Friends of Guildford County School.
We are immensely proud to support a school that champions high academic expectations alongside genuine pastoral care. Our purpose as the Friends is to foster a strong, connected community while raising vital funds to elevate the educational experience of all our students.
Through our collective efforts, we are able to provide exceptional resources and extracurricular opportunities that fall outside the standard school budget. Just as importantly, our gatherings offer parents and carers a wonderful space to connect and engage meaningfully with school life.
Every parent and carer is automatically a member of the Friends. We appreciate that family schedules are demanding, so there is no minimum expectation—simply an open invitation.

Run entirely by passionate parent and teacher volunteers from across the school community.

Every single penny raised goes directly back into improving school facilities and resources.
