Rugby Winners

Year 11 boys had reached the final of the County Plate competition which was played in west London on Friday night against Harris Academy from Crystal Palace.

We cannot overstate how impressively the County boys played, dominating the entire match to win 35-5.

As a school, we have never won this competition and it is a real credit to all 22 boys who have been involved in the squad this season. Special mention must go to the try scorers from last night, Keone Pillay (3!!), Michael Fieldus, Lucas Flanders and captain, Louis Dimbylowe.

They should all be very proud of what they have done as Surrey is an extremely strong rugby county. Hopefully this will encourage and inspire some of the younger students to become more involved in the sport.

We wish them luck for the rest of the season to now go on and win the Guildford league which continues in February.
