‘We were again delighted by our ‘A’ level performance.  In the 2009 summer examinations, our students achieved a 99% pass rate which compares very well with our pass rates in recent years.  Our passes at high grades were particularly pleasing.  The percentage of entries at grade A was 28%, at grade AB 58% and at grades ABC 80%. Completion rates (those who started courses in September and took exams) and success rates (those who gained grades) were extremely high.  At AS Level results were less consistent and, alongside many outstanding performances, some students will need a stronger work ethic if they are to be successful
during this coming year!’
