Attendance

Students cannot learn properly if they are not at school; and we therefore place great importance on our students’ attending regularly and being in school on time.  Some absence and, occasionally, lateness may be unavoidable. In general, however, we expect our students to arrive in good time, refreshed after a night's sleep, and ready to give their attention to their studies. We do not approve holidays or occasional days taken in term-time, except in exceptional circumstances or on compassionate grounds.
